A persecuted race in Vi and beyond, identifiable by physical traits including horns, scales, and cloven feet. Subject to discrimination throughout Vi-Upper — even in the wealthy Gold Market, suspicious glances follow them. In Vi-Lower and the East Ring, the cruelty is more direct.

Stillforge has been systematically kidnapping Tideborn from the East Ring for at least two months, loading them into unmarked carts and holding them in locations like Blackmire Tannery. Areska Vell and Rynna of the Broken Chain are the primary official and grassroots forces fighting for Tideborn welfare in Vi.

Vaelrik is Tideborn and served in the city guard before defecting. Prill is a tiefling; many Tideborn are tieflings, kobolds, mousefolk, and other non-human peoples.
