Someone with institutional authority had decided the case could be filed away.

His full role — whether complicit, negligent, or under orders — is unknown. He remains a thread in Prill Meadowmere's investigation of her mother's death.

Rynna tells Vaelrik that Korr has risen to second-in-command of the city guard and now operates largely out of Crownspire. Whatever damage he was already able to do has widened, not narrowed.
