Community shelter and aid hub in the East Ring, run by Rynna of the Broken Chain. Serves as kitchen, clinic, dormitory, and organizing center for vulnerable Tideborn in the city. Rynna uses her network of extra hands and street knowledge to track disappearances and keep the district from collapsing under pressure.

Vaelrik owes a debt of gratitude to Rynna — she reached out to him and brought him back to Vi. The inn's name and its emblem (a broken chain link) appear on Rynna's correspondence.

In Session 10 the Broken Chain is shown at full strain: a supper line around the building, beds and supplies spilling into every corner, and Rynna's own office given over to one more emergency body. It remains one of the clearest signs that the East Ring survives more by mutual care than by any help from the city.

In Session 11 Rynna is absent from all party contact — she is actively moving the recently rescued Tideborn to safer houses, a process that takes priority over everything else.
